Celebrating Dedication: Girlguiding Suffolk Members Honored with Long Service Awards

Over 100 Members from Girlguiding Suffolk spent the afternoon celebrating achievements at Moreton Hall. The afternoon started with an opening message from the County Commissioner, Katherine West and was followed by an awards ceremony. Over 40 awards were handed out from Leadership Qualifications to Long Service Awards recognising their unwavering commitment and outstanding contributions to Girlguiding.

This year we were lucky enough to be celebrating amazing achievements of long service from 5 years of volunteering right up to 60 years! It was a fantastic afternoon to celebrate the dedication and hard work of volunteers who have devoted significant time and effort to supporting and mentoring young girls and women, fostering a spirit of adventure, community, and personal growth.

These recipients have demonstrated extraordinary commitment, contributing to the success and growth of Girlguiding Suffolk through various roles. Their dedication has not only enriched the lives of countless girls and young women but has also strengthened the community and upheld the values and mission of Girlguiding.

Girlguiding Suffolk remains committed to providing a supportive and enriching environment where girls can develop new skills, make lifelong friends, and build confidence. The contributions of long-serving members are integral to maintaining this legacy and continuing to offer high-quality programs and opportunities for all members.
